Thread: Uh Novice Brawler No Longer Has Weapon Certs for 2h and Polearm? How are we supposed to level?

What the heck? I cant go up the 2h tree cause we have no weapon cert until you get the 1st box?!?!? What happened?

Novice Brawler never *had* them to begin with.

All characters can use Wooden Staves and Heavy Axes, however - even if they don't have Novice Brawler. That's how you do it.

I couldn't find an axe when I did 2h for master brawler so I just bought a nice 2h curved sword and used that. Even though your not certified for it you can still use it. Just kill a bunch of gnorts outside theed using berserk and you'll be training up to the box in a few minutes. Once you qualify for it it'll take you all the way up. I love that sword. It just feels so good in my hands...mmm 2h swords or keep pikeman mmmm

Also, you'll find that a well crafted Metal Staff will carry you quite far up the Polearm branch. They seem to hit more often and can be very fast =)
