Yeah I agree, but don't worry, when the Jedi System will change, the AFK Camper will be greatly reduced

I'm trying to work my way up unarmed to move toward TKA. Not because the evil holo told me to, but because I want to. Where else to get xp on a regular basis? Moenia on Naboo. I tote my furry butt over there to find a TKA camping the spawns. All running on macro and stealing any xp from others. He's AFK, so I can't piss him off enough to make him move. I'm now stuck punching chubas.
Campers suck. They totally ruin it for the rest of us who ARE actually online, and DO want to be a part of the game. I can understand grinding. No big deal. When you do it at the OBVIOUS expense of others (i.e. borgle cave), it is just plain wrong.
I see who the **edit** are in this game; they are the ones going for jedi. Seen it too many times. A hospital full of medics, not wanting to help anyone. Instead they are tossing heals on an AFK guy tumbling. It's sick!!
Me! Me! Me! I paid for this game and I can make it as miserable for you as I want! This is what I see happening. I could have sworn that this is griefing.
AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to Dantooine Argo Outpost. Group with a pet/droid. Leave it in town. Take Lesser Plains Bol missions (1k a piece, just keep refreshing till they pop up)
For every spawn you get about 15 very easy to kill Bols per lair. You get 300+ exp per Bol plus like 800 for the lair.
You'll get novice TKA in no time.

thanx guys! Making a switch from Pistol/ranger to TKM/CH is a HUGE jump, and I hope it will pay off.

Hang in there... the grind to Novice TKA is a tough one, but well worth it. A couple tips:
1. ALWAYS group with someone, even dancers or a pet. Being grouped, even if they're nowhere close, gives you a 30 percent increase in XP per kill.
2. Want more XP? Use Bleed shot and let the critter bleed down, then run in and hit it... it all becomes unarmed at that point.
3. While the low-end critters don't seem like much, they add up FAST, and there's virtually NO chance of dying. Don't underestimate the ability to kill 10 Capper Spineflaps in back of Moenia for 1300 XP in less time then it takes to kill an equally difficult big creature. Nice thing is, it's a pretty consistent spawn rate as well, so there's ALWAYS something to kill. Run into a group, and use Spin attack and nail multiples for big XP fast.
4. Use Knucks, even though you're not certed, cause you'll hit faster than without, and get a little more damage in the process.
I know I've posted this stuff in other threads, so forgive me if this seems redundant...

prances gave some GREAT tips!
definately use speed sliced knucklers. the increase in your attack speed will MORE than make up for the slight reduction in damage.
grouping does in fact give you an XP bonus though it is 25% not 30%, but 25% adds up QUICKLY!!
the DoTs are going to be fixed soon (with Publish 6 i believe) so using bleed shot and then finishing unarmed will only net you unarmed XP for a few more days TAKE ADVANTAGE NOW!!
i would also suggest you try focusing on something else. i know that sounds counter productive, but if you run missions (like the bol missions suggested above) and concentrate on making credits, or collecting hides, meat, bones or what have you, or concentrate on collecting the 'rares' you find by searching the lairs, and just allow the combat to happen with each mission, you will find that the points will rack up quite quickly because they are not the main focus of your every activity.
also if you have a swoop or speeder of any kind, try NOT to use it for closer missions. i run on foot killing EVERYTHING i see on the way to the mission, complete the mission and kill EVERYTHING i see on the way BACK from the mission. 1,200 - 1,300 more points? sure, but after 10 missions you are talking about 12,000 to 13,000 more points that you would have sped right past on your bike!
last, hang in there. there is nothing else in the game like the transition from unarmed IV to TKN!! the FIRST TIME you kill a mob as a TKN you will see that all the trials, tribulations, heart ache and pain were WELL worth the trip!!

Oh! And once you hit Novice TKA, head for Yavin 4 after getting Doc and Musician buffs... you can build up TKA to Master VERY, VERY fast that way, and hardly ANYTHING DBs =)
