And I am wondering what are the best weapons to use for the different melee profs? I have unarmed 4 already as I am a TKM, so just need the other three. Figure Id get a gaffi baton, but what about swords and pikes? Thanks in advance!

the newer long vibro axes are much better suited to the brawler grind, as they're much more accurate. once you get polearm3 (i think) start using that for the long grind to polearm4. for onehand, use the ryyk, 1h curved and then the gaderffi baton at onehand3. two hand, use the 2h curved and 2h cleaver. the curved is much faster than the cleaver, and has a similar max damage, but the minimum damage is much lower.

If you don't have any skill box in Polearm/2handed you will use a Wood Staff and a Heavy Axe.

I suggest you to kill some low ennemies around Mos Entha for example until you get to the Tier 2, from here use a 2handed Curved Sword (you can use it to 2handed4) and an Advanced Lance until Polearms 3 where you'll want to switch to the Long Vibro Axe (only a LVA crafted post-patch).

The Gaffi Stick is certified at 1handed1, before that you'll need a dagger.

I just burned through 2-handed 1-4 last night in 1 hour 53 minutes.
Only using a 2-handed Curved Sword the whole time, sliced for speed.
No special moves except Berserk. I tried using the rest, but they were not as fast and damaging as Berserk.
I got a Doc Buff and a Musician Buff, no spice for me!
I have 68% Kenetic Ubese armor.
I soloed the whole time. No help from anyone at all.
Just outside Theed, down the waterfall, is a nice patch of land before you get to the lake. It is an awesome hunting ground. There were creatures there I have never seen before.
I love those Tusk Cats. They gang up on you, but with the Buff's it does not matter at all.
I went though 1-handed 1-3 (1/2 way through 4) the same way, except that I used a 1-handed Curved Sword.
I kept going until my Buffs ran out. I fought for a while without the Musician ones, which seemed not to make too much of a difference.
Sentinel Spiders are easy too. And those things that look like Horse/Dogs.
All I have left is the rest of 1-handed 4, and the Polearm branch. Which I will do the same way, except with some sort of staff.
