Q's:

-What is an affectivemacro bar(the f1-f12 on the top of the screen) for getting through unarmed?

-What level of unarmed can you use vibrokucklers, and if your not certified to use them and they are reduced damage is it still postive to use them?

-Can you use two vibroknucklers at a time(1 in each hand)

A's:

- An effective tool bar? hmm I'd say create a macro with "/healdamage self" and put it in the F1 slot so you don't need to select yourself for healing. Then add Berserk, Intimidation, Warcry and Lunge. Then you'll add the specials (Hit1,Stun,Blind...)

- Vibroknucklers are certified at Novice Teras Kasi, however you can still use the VK in the Unarmed tree despite the system message you get. Actually you will be as powerful and quicker (be sure to have a vk sliced in speed, something like 2.0 s or less).

- You can only use 1 Vibroknuckler at a time.

There's plenty of threads in this forum about unarmed grind, I suggest you take a look at them and post if you still have questions

first answer-i just have the normal stand,kneel, prone, sit, burst run, then unarmed blind, stun, then hit 1 or 2(dont get till TKA)

second answer-to use vibro knucklers you must be a TKA...not any level of brawler...i used them once i figured out it does help a little with speed and a little with damage

third answer-no, i found that out the hard way you can only use one at a time

...to get through unarmed i first killed really weak things like the stuff outside of theed and that kind of thing, i use mabari armorweave armor, all the way up until igot TKA, then after that i did faction missions(in my case imp) and just killed random things i saw that i could actually take, and just as a side note, medic with pharacology 1 and lots of stim b's also helps a bunch, good luck and hopefully you take as long as it took me...have fun

Here's what I'm currently doing, just to pick up master brawler in my "spare" time.

I'm currently hologrinding TwoHanded Swordsman, so out of necessity, I'm killing bigger stuff on places like Dantooine.

To get the Unarmed/One-handed/Polearm xp, I'm taking missions as a Swordsman, and killing everything with my two- sword. But I'm hitting the lair with my bare hands, and getting tons of XP. I can get about 3-4k xp per quenker lair, for example.

The same thing would work if you were a pistoleer, carbiner, or whatever... just take the highest level missions you can, and try just going on the lairs. (This wouldn't work well on one of the starter planets, as an ikopi lair doesn't give much xp.)

I went through the whole unarmed tree yesterday in about 2 hours (for the third time, I hate holos). What you do is equip a speed sliced vk (mine is 1.6 speed) and go beserk killing stuff. I use 71% kinetic armor and get 1-1.5k xp per kill on Talus, was killing these little kitties on3.5k credit missions.

Again, the key to getting quick xp is doing damage. Therefore kill using vk while berserk, you do good damage even though your not authorized to use the weapon.

If you're like me, poor as hell, can't afford that nice pretty 50% ubese or whatever, hit Naboo and do some searching for Hermit Spider Sentries. They spawn tons from their lairs, are extremely fragile, and are worth about 650 xp per. Plus 1500 for the lair, 700 for the queen, and the fact that there's usually about 20 (sometimesup to 30)of them.. it's a lot of xp, and it's ----easy----.

Again.. this is for we who cannot afford uber armor, buffs, neon gorldand all that fancy stuff.
