You don't say what HAM values you currently have, as well you don't mention which one of your HAM values seem to incap you.

From what I've found out, there should be no reason why anyone isn't running around with 800-900 mind points. I've noticed that animals tend to pick on your weakest stat, and if your mind is the lowest, they'll hit you in the head very often. Since you really can't heal your mind, that is your weak point.

If at all possible, try to get HAM values of about 800/800/900, while maximizing your mind stats. The good thing about Zabrak is that they have the best mind regeneration of any race in SWG. In order to heal yourself, I suggest you pick up novice medic as well. Then make yourself (or buy) some stim packs to keep you alive.

Remember that armor isn't always a good thing. The load that it puts on your secondary stats make spamming special attacks kill you quickly. If you're fighting anything low level, it may make sense to skip the armor, or at least just wear something to protect your mind (headwear).

Zabrak also have 'equilibrium', which allows them to equalize all their stats for a short period of time. If you find that your mind is getting low, use equilibrium to boost it up until you can kill whatever you were fighting.

Good Luck.

zabraks have the best BASE mind regen... but hoot-mans can still beat them.

max your mind. get decent regen and use secondaries for it. take novice medic (and first aid 2 if you can). carry crates of stims. get BioE medical clothing. make an armor macro so you can pop it on in a hurry, and off to regen/spam specials.

food/buffs/spice can easily boost your stats... and if you have a solid mind pool, you can stim anything that hurts.
