I would like to make a TK-tank for pve. What I was thinking is TKM, M.Brawler and the defensive trees from Fencer/Swds/Pike. (Fencer 4-0-0-0, Swds 0-0-4-0, and Pike 0-0-4-0) I am assuming that as long as the bonus doesnt say "one-handed/two-handed/polearm" thenall thedodge/counter/block and defenseswill stack onto my unarmed abilities, however I have heard there is a cap to this.
Where should I cut it off exactly, or would i be better off just making CH or Doc as a backup profession.
thank you!

ok, first of all, dodge block and counterattack are all weapon specific. the only stackable defenses are melee, ranged and the various other ones that say defense vs ______, wether it be stun, intimidate, knockdown, ect, ect, ect... i would also reccomend trying out all of the different melee classes to find the one you like the feel of more. wether that choice be pikeman, fencer, teras kasi, or swordsman
but as it stands a swordsman with a high damage powerhammer, and some defensive stacking are one of the better pve characters to play, i know because with COB, intimidate 2, doctor buffs and two vasarian brandy, i can solo a force crystal hunter one on one, and i have never owned or have worn a single piece of armor.
but there are alot of ch/melee, and doctor/melee and they seem to enjoythat as a template
and the cap is set at 125.
Edit: reworded the post
