Easiest way imo to master the Brawler Classes is:
1) Master Brawler: Doing this first will ensure your quick grind through the Elite Professions give you the Intimidate 2 Lunge 2 and Warcry 2 abilities. As you progress through the Classes you will be thankful you snagged these skills.
2) Master TerasKasi: By mastering Tka first you get access to the Meditate Line (single best line imo). The grind is pretty straight forward. Get some Buffs/Kinetic Resist Armor/Speed Sliced Vk's and head down to Rori for Levia Squall Missions. Pretty easy to grind Unarmed 1-4 just using Berserk/ Vk's on the Squalls. About 2k exp per and they go by fast. Your Nov to Master grind will go fairly quickly on Dantooine. I took Piket/Huurton Howler/SavageQuenker Missions. Always group with a pet/droid to get the most out of your grinding exp.
Weapons: VibroKnucklers: Good for 1-4 and Novice Grinds. Once you start to progress up the Speed and Dmg you will use these less and less.
Once you get Nov Tka I would pursue the Tree like this:
X/X/1/X Speed and Dmg
X/1/1/X Dizzy Kd
2/1/1/X PowerBoost
2/1/4/X Cap on Speed and Dmg Until Master
2/4/4/X Kd2 and Defenses
4/4/4/X Med4 Self Heal Wounds
Combat Experiance should not be too big of a deal. Once you hit Master Tka I would advise you to Cap on your Combat Experiance to make the other Melee Prof Grinds that much easier.
3) Master Fencer: With MasterBrawler/ TerasKasi: 4/X/X/X Fencer should also be a breeze.
Main Weapons you should concern yourself with are:
Ganderifi Baton: For heavy Hits.
Ryyk Blade: Good all purpose Weapon.
VibroBlade: To Spam Specials ( might not be an issue ifyou have access to Doc/Mind buffs).
Best way to grind up the tree is:
X/4/X/X Speed
X/4/4/X Specials to spam
4/4/4/X Finish off tree
With the saved up Combat Experiance from Master Tka you should be able to go X/X/X/3 right off the bat. Grinding on Dant using the Tka method is probably your best bet. Once master Cap on Combat Experiance once again and you should be good for Swordsman.
4) Master Swordsman: Once again should be a fairly quick grind. With the nerf bleeds Swordsman has become somewhat more difficult to master.
Weapons:
Two Handed Curved Sword: This will be your main Weapon until you reach Novice Swordsman. Hits fast and decent dmg make for an ideal Berserk/Grinding Tool.
PowerHammer: Once you gain Speed the Power Hammer will be your best friend. Good Damage Blast Type and Nice Ap make for a solid Elite Weapon.
Best way to grind up the tree:
X/4/X/X Speed
4/4/X/X Area Attacks
4/4/4/X Defense Line
Combat Experiance should again be easy to come by once you Master. As you finish off the Speed tree you will rely on your Spin and Area attacks more and more. They not only do decent dmg but will net you more and more Experiance if you use them correctly. I did most of my grinding at Fort Tusken because of the close proximity of the Mobs and the fast respawn. Spin Attack 2 and Area Attack 3 help out alot in here as you can usually kill the lower end Tuskens in one or two Specials.
5) Master Pikeman: Hardest Melee grind in the game (if not the hardest prof imho). Your best bet here is to take things slow and remember to take deep breaths.
Weapons:
Basic Lance: This will be your best friend untill you hit Novice Pikes. Nice Accuracy Mods and fairly decent Dmg/Speed make this your best bet for 1-4Novice grinding.
Long Vibro Axe: This will be your Slow/Heavy hitting Pike. I really only started to use this after i was 4/X/X/X. Good damage Ap2 and Kinetic Type are the main stats of this Weapon.
VibroLance: After Novice this was my main Grinding weapon. Decent Hit Mods, Electric Type, Slightly lower Dmg then an LVA are the stats of this weapon.
Best way to grind up this tree is:
4/X/X/X Speed....... not much else to say
4/4/X/X Useful Specials to go along with your speed.....
4/4/4/X Defenses and the end of the tree.
Once again youll use your combat experiance to get to X/X/X/3 right from Novice. This grind can be difficult because of the slow Pike Speeds and the low Accuracy Mods. However once you get the Stances Line youll be swinging fairly quickly. As with Swordsman your best bet to grinding this Profession quickly is Fort Tusken and Savage Quenker missions. Buffs are the key to Surviving the PIkeman Grind, and dont forget to Spin Attack 2 to maximize your exp intake.
So thats about all there is to Mastering the 4 Melee Professions. If you have any questions you can Post here or Msg me in game.
