Thread: Experience not registering on Skills page

So I have been killing things all day, trying to get that final one-handed IV rank...so I can move onto Fencer. I figured I had to be close, so I checked my current one-handed experience...it was at 66973...needed 70000 for one-handed IV. So I hunt and kill and do missions...then checked my experience, and it still says 66973. I look back in my message window, and yes...I am still getting one-handed experience, 440 for killing spice friends for instance. So I ask around in game with a /yell...no response. So I go to the brawling trainer and ask him about training, he offers to train me one-handed IV...even though my experience says 66973. So obviously, I did indeed have enough to train it...but why doesn't it seem to change? Anyone else ran into this? Also...just before I logged...I checked the rest of my skills...and NONE of them have gone up, even though I was awarded various amounts from the hunting all day. Anyone have any suggestions?

There is a display bug where the exp doesn't show unless you shuttle or relog. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not.

According to the TC patch notes, this is fixed on TC. Expect this to not happen anymore once the next publish is released.

Whew! So if I log back in, it will be displaying my actual experience? And if it happens again, all I have to do is log and come back to fix it? Thanks a lot for the speedy responses...I appreciate it!

Correct. Enjoy the whacking of critters again safe in the knowledge that you are indeed gaining xp.

Wow. I had exactly the same problem twice yesterday.
I relogged and all was ok.
