yea i can't understand at that point, but here is my stradegy....im trying to make my holo go silent and then stop grinding it....and wait for pub 10 when it goes quest mode....the reason im doing this is becasue the devs said that all progress would port over to the new system.....so if i have mastered 4 out of the 5 professions my path to jedi should be shorter than 0 out of 5...right? give me you thoughts..am i wrong in this or does that seem logical

so if i have mastered 4 out of the 5 professions

There's (no longer)5 professions. People unlocking on #30+ cannot be bad luck

My advise would be grind as much profession you can (grind those you like, it'll be easier).

Are you kidding me? You mean you never heard that Darth Vader was the best damn cook the Empire Had ever seen? Everyone always misses that part since it was in the books but they cut out of the movies.

This sums it all up very nicely. I've had, for the most part, fun grinding all of the combat professions. I just need Pikeman and Swordsman to finish all the combat professions (except BH of course). Fencer was by far my favorite (which I've kept) because I finished grinding in 9 hrs and I'm deadly with COB macro and enchanced weapons. What's nice is I have a very good understanding of combat, the strengths and weaknesses of each profession I might have to fight as a Jedi. This makes sense and I can see why we are made to grind through combat professions. However, what is not needed is grinding crafting, makes no sense and does not help me as a Jedi at all. I realize its there to make Jedi rare but come on, anyone with 15 million credits can doall ofthe crafting professions in about 100hrs of straight monkeygrinding (not including merchant because you really dont do anything but pray someone enters your house and buys stuff lol)

AfterI finish my last two combat professionsthe only thing I have left is basicly professions with some sort of crafting involved to complete and the best one of all merchant. My guess is after about 22 professions I will give up, I'm not going to spend 15million credits on grinding supplies when all it will probably get me is arthritis.

If anything, the devs should have just completely removed the crafting professions as possible unlocks. IMO combat professions and maybe medic professions should have been the only possibilities, after all that is all you do as a Jedi anyways, kill and heal yourself.

On a side note, the entertainer professions were enough to make my eyes bleed it was so boring.
