I need help with my brawler, i am at unarmed 3 going on unarmed 4 and i would like to know if my brawler is supposed to be so weak. first it seems that he doesnt do that much damage when attacking and he can only withstand a few hits before dying. i would like to know if this is normal or not. if not what can i do to make him withstand more damage.

Ok several things to mention here:

1) Unarmed tree is the weakest brawler tree. (NOTE: This statement purely reflects the brawler level, once you hit teras kasi you will be quite good)

2) Get a pair of vibroknucklers....you won't be cert'd with them but it speeds you up.

3) Invest in some kinetic armor (Ubese)

4) Use the berserk ability, while doing unarmed Berserk is your friend.

thanks for your help, but i got the vibroknucklers and sliced them but it seems that i get killed more often with them on. i will try the armor though do you know where i can get some good armor, because when i use the bazzar there isnt anything good. i am on tatooine, on the bria server if that helps. also does anyone know where i can get a swoop bike or anyother vechile becuse walking takes forever. again thanks for all your help

Get killed too much? I remember my un4 way ...

Try to support your Browler ability with some Medic, Scout. For example you can use traps (the one that put Blind upon your target), use Maskscent that disorients aggressive mobs, you can use stimpack to heal yourself in the fight, etc.

You have to choose low level target. When I was Browler 3 I usually went on rockmite and some Cu pa on Tatooine.

If this and what said before is not enough, try to go in group!

Unfortunately, if you are not rich you cannot grind unarmed 4 quickly. If you cannot offer buffs and armors you'll have to kill low level mobs. I made it on Naboo, taking narglatch cubs missions near Keren and killing random flewts and spiders on the way. (some static lair spawn queens and such so beware).

thanks for all you help guys. Since i am a total newbe to the game i would like to know where i canget doctor buffs, because i cant seem to find any on the bazzar. i have about 14k in money i that helps at all. also i stated out as a scout and then added brawler to the mix, so should i migrate any of my skills or not i have strength at about 496 which as far i know is supposed to be the main skill to do with health. so should i make that higher or not. Also does anbody know where i can get a vechile becasue that would make things easier and faster when looking for some good mobs to kill. again thanks for your time and help

Kudos on the narglatch cubs! That's how I got to UA4. After that, I went to Dant and beat on Quenkers until I got TKN. Now my options are WIDE open. It's worth the hard work!

also to add another question what is a macro. i see alot of people talking about it but dont really understand what it is or what it does. according to my friend who just quit SWG he said i can gain experience without even playing the game, he told me all i have to do is to create one of those macros and then go to a place where enemys spawn and then set my character to away from keyboard mode and he said that i will attack enemys automacticaly without having to be at my computer. so was he just lying or was what he said true. if it is true then is it legal or will i get banned from the game? agains i would like to say thanks for everybodys help

I think it's better playing SWG than let your PC doing it for you.

You spend a lot of time on UN4 but you have the chance to learn well how to fight, using specials and which one works better in certain situation.

If you use macroes all exp is waste for you, just to get the boxes complete.

You can buy speeder at Vendors. On my server they cost about 20000 and 2500 every two days in maintenance. Not to much if you take 2 same direction missions to get un4 (up to 1500-1600 each).

A macro is a number of command (/target, /attack etc...) that can be looped.

But that's true you'll gain "personal" experience that'll help you in fight, plus if you do it without macro you will REALLY feel happy when mastering the profession, because you put some time and effort in this.

To get doc buffs you'll need a doc. If you don't have one in your friend list you'll have to find one. Only them can apply the buffs. But I suggest you buy some food, like "Vasarian Brandy" or else, they can usally buff a fair amount of HAM.

If you do the new beginners missions given by the new helper droids you get a deed for a rental speeder (you can use it about 5 times).

thanks for all your help. i just need 2k more to get to unarmed 4 and then comes the hard part "getting to tk novice". how would i go about creating a macro for my character to attack enemys when i am setto away from keyboard mode. because with school and everthing it will take for ever to get to tk novice. so if anyone knows of a macro that can help me get unarmed xp while at school or not at my computeri really appriciate it. again thanks for all your help
