I have used TKA and Pistoleer skills good together. Swordsman is king in pve because of being able to do blast damage (though with melee mitigation does hurt it in pvp) Pikeman can be alot of fun and does alot of damage with looted pikes, though block allows damage more than say counterattack with swordsman, but you get some nice area specials. Fencer would be good in pvp, but is limited in ap1 (same as tka, but I seem to do better in pve as a TKA than fencer) So part of it will depend on what you plan to do most of the time.
