Thread: Limited SP... which should i choose

'Ello,
I am a Master BE/CH on Starsider and I am trying to choose a combat profession to complement my CH. The big problem is I only have enough SP to go up one tree in brawler, get novice, and go up on tree in the elite professions. Obviously i wont be very good at PvP without dropping the other professions... What would y'all suggest?

TKA 0/0/4/0 You get all your damage and speed in that one line. That's my first thoughts anyway.

that was my first thought as well. My only problem with it is that I have no damage type option then, thus i cant go on NS hunts or anything like that

Most NS don't have 100 resist to kentic, only elders, and you won't be able to take on elders with just one line of any proffesion. Swordsman is great, but without the acc and speed, I would think it would be harder to be effective. (unless you can get +25speed and acc for 2 hand ) Pikeman sucks without being master, so I would rule that one out. (IMHO) Fencer is not that great for pve and it sounds like that is what you are leaning more toward.

If i were you id get a marksman profession to go with ch easier. your pets willl tank while you stand in the rear for support. im not famaliar with marksman professions except pistoleer. but pistoleer is worthless without its defense line. so i would suggest getting a tree of rifleman.

I thought about that, but pets need to be stimmed and that means i have to be close anyway. On the occasions where creatures think i am a better target then my pets, my nice 72% unsliced ubese armor, slanted stats, and doctor made stims keep me pretty well safe.
Now... if i went swordsmen, only went up the fourth box, which has the accuracy modifiers, and got a decent sliced weapon... would the speed tree be necassary?
