Thread: Didn't Brawlers used to be able to become BH when the game first came out?

I played the game a lot when it first came out and got bored after about 2 months and stopped playing. I remember master brawler+master scout=Bounty Hunter it even says it in my manual. Has this changed or did it never exist or is my manual just messed up? plz help me im in the middle of getting master brawler and scout in the hopes of getting bh, but now im so confused. oh yeah btw the reason i didnt go for marksman bh is because blasters are annoying, dont give as good xp and just werent as much fun as beating things with stiks.

It's never been m. brawler + m. scout = BH since the game was released. It might of been that way in beta (I don't remember), but definitely not since release. If it says that in the manuel, then it's wrong.

What? It says it in your manual that MBrawler + MScout = nov BH???? I just looked in mine and I didn't see that at all. What I did see is MMarksman + MScout = novBH....which is the way I remember it. However, now it looks like they dropped the MScout down to just Exploration 4. WOOT!

In beta it was Master Marksman + Master Brawler. Then it was changed to Master Marksman + Master scout. I don't ever remember it being Master brawler + Master scout..

ok thx. my bad it says that brawler can lead to bh but bh says it requires m marksman and m scout which i now understand has been brouhgt down to just exploration 4. what i was hoping for was a way to turn my brawler into a boutny hunter without having to give up my Long Vibro Axe (which kiks ass) and all my pike man defense bonusses.

u culd technicly play a melle based bh by getting bh 4-0-0-0 and one of the brawling trees(like pikeman,u can keep ur long vibro axe), now that they dropped down the skill points. now that would be sweet a teras kasi bh! good bye jedi.

I have the original SWG strategy guide, & it has the same thing in it(Brawler + Marksman). However I started playing the game about 1-2 weeks after its release, & it was master scout at that point, so it probably was a beta thing.

you can more then techically be brawler/bh ZebrakGab. I am bh 3400, pistoleer 0040, master swordsman now, and it is pretty fun.

The Player's Guide says that BH can be reached by MB + MS. And of course, it's wrong.

yeah i think i know what this guy's saying, i made a new character on Kauri because i wanted to be a BH, and on the new character screen it said brawlers could advance in their path to become a BH

It's kinda like how the holocron in game says you have to be a master marksman and medic to do CM.
