Im going for Master Brawler. I used Vibroknuckles to get unarmed first. Now I can switch to 185 maxLance, 159 max Heavy Axe, or 117 max Curved Sword.

These other weapons going berserk dont seem even close to the success I had with the Vibroknuckles. While berserk Vibroknuckles seemed to always do 200+ but the Lance which hits for much better damage does below 100 quite often.

Why are Vibroknuckles so much better?

Using my lance and berserk, I do anywhere from 400-900dmg per hit. Currently with my VKs and unarmed lvl 3, I do about 200-500 while berserked.

Seems pretty basic, to me.

With the Vibro Knuckles you had Master Unarmed backing it up. Now, you have Novice Brawler backing up the new weapon. There's no way in hell you're going to do the same damage. Also, when starting a new ladder, you can't use the best weapon right away. At least not close to it's potential. When I started polearm, I did better with a wood staff than a reinforced combat staff because I didn't have enough skill in polearm. Same goes for every weapon you try. Skill doesn't carry over with each weapon.

with 2-handed sword mastery I do 500-800 damage per swing while berzerked, I use a 2 handed curved sword.

Ah no, you misunderstand. ALL my weapon skills are at Rank III. And when I got Unarmed to Rank IV I stopped. To get Master Brawler you only need to get to rank 4...not use them at rank 4.

Hence this is all rank3 skills being compared to each other. I was getting exp much faster with Vibroknuckles

Are you using Berzerk with the other weapons? Also, when you arm the weapons, does it give you a message that the damage will be much lower because you lack the skill? If you're doing less damage with a weapon who's max is well above 100, then you have some problems, my friend.

Yes, thats using Berserk will all the weapons. And I do have enough skill to use them all.

The Vibro are 18-92 damage. The polearm, a Lance, is 13-185. Now it does have a lower minimum but rarely seemed to out perform the knuckles.

I just think faster weapons are more realiable.
