Brawler Archive

Hi all,

I am a medic/marksman. Me and a friend (same class) were destroying the tatooine desert wildlife and we came aupon brawler named Orian fighting Eopies. They con red to us but he was getting low on health so we jumped in and took it out. Orian saw how well we where doing as we proceeded to kil all of them and i saw his berserk and other special attacks and was like omg i hAVE TO HAVE HIM IN GRP.

Everything was going fine as we ere fighting light blues and whites. But this was just too ez and he was happy.. I mean jeez what brawler doesnt want two medics healing his butt and tearing up the enemy with their trusty plasters . But then it happened,, we decided to fight yellows and reds. we started by taking on a greater womprat and it came after me.. my bodyguard/ and hero lol saved my butt by unloading (god i was amazed) but a lil after that he was incapped . his mind was low but jeez should a brawlers attack take that much? I am healing and using tons of special attacks and not wasting anything close to his mind usage.

I really dont now about brawlers except they are a medics best friend. I thought they were tanks and made to.. well.. tank and dish it out. they are the only melee class so u think they would destroy on the front lines yet it seems to be ez for me and my other medic/marksman frined to destroy npcs with are balsters which is cool for me but sucks for him . I picked marksman because we are deadly when in range but shouldnt a brawler be deadly at his "range" FACT TO FACE. I mean come on i have never been incapped as much as he was in the 2 hour span we hunted. This is sad since he is melee and im primarily a medic...

I hope something changes because brawlers seem to be becoming worthless .. yet us medics really really need them in high end hunting . I want my bodyguard to be able to pprotect me more then one or two fights without having to rest alot, getting incapped ez because of Ham usage, and them being able to dish out more damage then lil ol me at close range. They are hand to hand combatants btw so WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO U GUYS .

I totaly agree. I am a Brawler. I use the pole as my main weapon. And I am always getting knocked to my ass. I have messed with my stats trying to find the perfect link between mind and body. But if I gain in mind I lose in health or Action and i'm still screwed. SWG really needs to do sumthing bout this. I set there and watch Marksman take out mountain Squills. So i decide to jump in and help out. I got 2 good shots in on him and then the squill is on my like toast and jam. I've always used my actions and healed my self and now my mind is low. So I get knocked to my ass and he slains me while the rest of the marksman shot away til he dies.

Now I love the brawler, but if I want to go after big game ..I can't and it sucks. Hopefully SWg will fix this issue and update the classes.

Personally I think when you go master you should get 100 points to add to your stats.

No joke, the LAST thing I want to do is tank. Since there are almost no medics out in the field, I get the crap beaten out of me and incapped whlie the 'weakly defended' ranged folks just plink away, and never get hit at all.

Wearing full armor it is a little better, except I cannot dovery manystyles to keep agro... so I can either keep agro and die, or wear full armor and kill myself with special move costs.

I SHOULD be a tank wearing full armor... why else would I wear it?
