You HAMbars will stay the way they forever unless you use the stat migration feature. But that just lowers one stat to raise another.
What does change, however, is your damage avoiddance and mitigation. So the higher your defense skill mods, and the higher up the skill tree you are compared to your opponent, the less damage you will take.

Does anyone know if your HAM stats get better too? in didnt play the beta, and i was just wondering. and the second i have enought points to train in rifle and pistol do i train with a marksman for both?
