Hello all, new Brawler here.

I'm just wondering how to go about getting Polearm Spec when I don't have a Certification for any Polearm at Novice Brawler. I tried it out on a friend's machine and I was hitting for about 10 Action damage at a time. Not very good when I need to get to Polearm I.

Any tips, or is there a newbie Polearm that I'm not aware of yet?

Im not 100% sure about this since I got my polearm 1 a long time ago, but you should be able to use a wood staff without any certification to start out with.

Funny, I was just wondering the same thing! My holocron tells me to master Pikeman But when I checked out the Polearm skill tree, I noticed that novice brawler had no polearm certs! Is there anything more useful than a Wood Staff??

The wooden staff is the first polearm weapon. Like the heavy axe it is not listed in the new commands/skills box for novice brawler.

after the wooden staff its the combat staff. then you can look at your certs for weapons to use.
