Was curious if the bonuses from multiple melee classes stack? like melee defence and ranged defence? or Do the bonuses work according to the weapon you choose to use? Asking because i am thinking of mastering multiple melee classes. Not too sure if this is a good idea or not? but just an idea atm.

thx for any feedback

Each weapon has its own accuracy, defense, and toughness stats. These do not stack.

Now the generic melee, ranged and defense against stun, blind, intimidate, etc...do stack across weapon types.

there's more to it then that though...if you are a master brawler and tk master then you gat all the bounuses from all the trees...you get all the 1 handed sword balance skills, toughness and defence abilities along with balance and other such skills of that nature. the same goes for the bounuses you get from pole arm and 2 handed sword, they all stack. the only thing that doesn't is the differant dmg each weapon deals out but you get the toughness abilities so in all actuallity you still get the dmg bouneses...sort of

Let's stop pointing fingers and just fix the problem.

And is this only under the brawler profession? or does this also apply to the elite professions?

Ok, to clarify. All the bonuses you get for, say, polearm, in the brawler tree stack with the bonuses you get as you climb up the elite profession, Pikeman, however the only mods that stack across the professions are the generic ones, i.e. melee defense , ranged defense and the various status defenses (stun, intimidate, etc ...). The unarmed toughness stat is only used when you are unarmed, the 2-hand accuracy only counts when your holding a 2-handed weapon.
