hey,

ive just started playing unarmed...so far im half way to the IV but still cant beat anything but the easiest animals...even a syck takes me out numerous times before i can down it...im using a vk...any suggestions?

Anyhow.. Do Diseased Bocatt missions til you get IV done..then for TKA novice xp hunt scyks

where can i find the Diseased Bocatt missions?

I'm fairly new to Unarmed myself, being less than halfway through unarmed 4, but it was my understanding that you don't get VK certs until you hit TK novice. If you're using them it's going to seriously lower your damage.

I'm at work atm so can't double-check this, but you might want to look into it.

Actually, it really doesn't lower your damage at all. I'm only halfway through UA4 and i use one. From my experiences, it does as much damage as UA Hit 1(I think this is the name) and it makes you go at least twice as fast. Go ahead, try it out. You won't be dissapointed!

As a side note:

DON'T USE SPECIALS!!!!

this is the one problem with uncertified VK use. it makes the special costs skyrocket.

Yep, I'll second that. It does help, but only a little bit.

I like to beat up paralopes for fun sometimes when I'm helping newbs cause I don't want to one shot the thing by accident.

Im a TKA, and i used my VK'S all the time. 1.9 slice was very usefull. If your ham bars cannot handle you doing specials all the time just debuff first and then equip vk's. MAke sure sure you intimidate till it stiks (from 30 meters if possible), then unarned stun and blind if you have them. Equip vk's unarmed hit , berserk.

Just play around with it and youll get the hang of it. Just dont forget to use intimidate after 2 or three atacks. They stack and sure helps to keep you alive.

Also learn to pull your enemies, and get a pet.

at UA 4 you r sooo weak, at novice TKA u suddenly become a UA god..
