Nothing has changed. It's a cone effect, not an area effect.

From my experience, Seena (btw, i like how youyank on Kele-whatshisname-red-font's chain. keep it up!) Warcry1 & 2 are only different in their delay duration.

These are my observations.

Warcry1 is 10-19sec delay, Warcry 2 is always 20sec delay.

Both Warcry affect enemies in a Cone effect starting at the centre of your character, extending 15m out, being 0m wide at the point of origin(in your character) and spreading out to about 3m wide at max range.

I've noticed this because when my Mountian Krevol beetle (Volkswagen) is tanking 2-3 mobs when i stand close and warcry, 90% of the time i hit only 1 mob. However, when i aligned them up in a straight-ish line, stand at 10m away, i usually hit all 3 or at least both of them.

Hope this helps you and anyone else reading. Happy screaming!

I agree with poster #2. I used warcry2 and it effected 2 of the 3 hurtoons I was hunting.

Warcry 1 lasts 10 seconds and only affects 1 target, while warcry 2 lasts 20 seconds and hits all targets within a certain area. With warcry 2 I have delayed up to 4 targets at a time, while with warcry 1 I would only hit what I had targeted.

Heyas Winnoe!

Sorry I missed your very informative reply -- that helped a lot.

Last night I noticed... that I couldn't initiate combat with Warcry- I hope it's just a bug with me.... and not a stealth nerf.

As for our little 'friend' - well... I actually feel sorry for him in a way... I don't think he has all the horses in the stable.

Warcry is definitely multi-target, but since it's in a cone and social mobs often ring you, you often only affect 1 at a time even when 4 are attacking you.

You shouldn't be opening battle with a warcry anyway. If brawler it should be lunge, warcry, intimidate.

This forces them to kneeling, then keeps them there for 10 or 20 seconds, then if and when they do get backup they won't be doingn dmg for nothing

lol Well I don't know what exactly it is that YOU are fighting, but, at Master Fencer, Master brawler, TKA 3304, Pikeman 0040 I duel mostly Masters of other professions - with which opening(especially TKM) lunge/posture change moves are a waste.
