Thread: What is Taunt?

So this is a litle embarrasing... But I am a long time brawler and I have no idea what taunt is for. LOL is it to help you go berserk? does it make your enemy less accurate? I dunno!!

It's one of my favourite skills as it goes...
Basically it does this...
Say you're in a group of players. All are ranged fighters and a medic.
You come across this evil mob that aggros on one of your team mates. Well, while they're panicking and running around like a headless chicken, you target the mob and use /taunt.
If you succeed, the mob will forget about your friend and turn on you. Allowing you to tank the creature without ever needing to move.
Your friend will be happy, since the heat's off him/her and they can happily blast away whilst you lay the smack down on the mob that's in front of you now

That is SWEET!! It really beats me chacing them down the mountain! But, how do you taunt yourself? What is that for?

if you type /taunt self
it's an emote hehe.
If you target a mob and type /taunt
you will initiate combat with it.
