unarmed is weak if you are only staying in the brawler tree, so that is out. Polearm.....ick! I thought 2 handed sword was pretty nice for something that was only in a starting profession. It was a bit slow, but still had decent power. 1 handed is decent also, but I didn't like it as much. 1 handed could be goodif you fought a lot of npcs though, since you can dizzy and lunge in the brawler tree withough needing an advanced combat profession.

I guess I'm sayingthat 2-handed and 1-handed would be the best to choose from, and imho, 2-handed would be the best.
