Massive Damage + Two types of Damage + Jantas and Mokks = $$$$

Dant + Buff + Brandy + Quenkers/Hurton Huntresses = XP

Hope this helps

Is becoming a swordsman good? Like, is it a decent profession?

What is a good way to quickly gain xp and credits?

Thanks

Jantas and Mokks are found on the planet Dantooine (Dant). So are Quenkers and Hurton Huntresses. The first two are people, the second two are critters. Buffs are sold by Doctors and increase your Health and Action stats.

Sorry for the abbreviated reply earlier. This is what I would do.

Get a buff from a doctor - normally costs 10K, and lasts between 2.5 to 3.5 hours. This makes you virtually invinsible for this period of time.

Get some brandy of the bazaar - usually 6K will get you decent stuff.

Head off to Dant. Join a solo group. The mining outpost is the best place for this usually. In asolo group, all group members work individually. Theyare grouped for higher paying missions and more XP.

For the initial stages of swordsman, get 5K quenker missions. There are 3 spawns of 5 quenkers giving a total of 15. Each quenker gives about 3K XP. So thats 45K XP per lair.

You will be flying up the skill boxes in no time. Once u start finding quenkers to be easy prey, migrate to hurtonhuntresseswho pay slightly more (but they deathblow as well). They give more XP and abit more cash. Eventually, start doing Jantas and Mokks who pay out 28K. When you hit master swordsman, a camp of these guys will not take more than a minute. Hence, easy money.

BTW, Brandy increases the stats on ur Mind pool, which normal doctor buffs dont hit. A dancer is also able to provide u with a mind pool buff. Brandys just a short term, quick fix.

Swordsman is a great pve proffesion, with a powerhammer you can do blast damage that alot of high end mobs have lower resists to. Also the sythe is a nice weapon. Use a Two hand curved sword till you get novice swordsman, maybe even longer. Dire cats are good on correillia for grinding to novice swordsman. Credits will get easy once you get novice and can take on higher level missions.

I used the 2 hand sword all the way till master. I got a pretty decent one with like 2.5-2.7 attack speed and pretty decent damage. Never busted out the hammer unless it was the lair. Until you reach master it is still pretty slow.

To the poster I think everyone will agree swordsman are top of their game for pve and can do pretty well in pvp with the right amount of money. Don't be affraid to go over and visit the boards. Most likey they won't bite. Plus they have a FAQ that will give you alot of advice on leveling. Since you ask on the fastest way to get xpyou got some good answears. If you new to the game however you might have alittle trouble following there advice. I just happen to police up a few new people on dant that had no idea how to play the basics of the game let alone there classes. My advice is to learn that first while grinding up your two hand tree worry about gaining xp fast later. After you get novice sword you should have a pretty good understanding of the game.If you got the game down pretty well now and own a set of comp/ ubeese armor have the right equipemnt you can burn out sword pretty fast and huurtons/ quenkers jantas mokks will all earn good xp and cash.
