Thread: Brawler's Attributes Please Help
Hello,
I am taking 2-handed swords with my Brawler, and my race is Zabrack.
What I have done currently is equalize my health and action pools to 1000 each, and my mind is around 750. However, I have no clue where the rest of the attributes should go cap wise. I am noticing as is that even though I have my second skill box in sword, that newbie mobs just outside the city are still really handing it to me when I use my sword, however I have a much easier time with my rifle.
Any help on strength, stamina, and the other attributes would be great! =)
Get as close as possible to maxing your secondary stats in Health and action. Zabraks are extremely talented when it comes to thier mind, but thier action and health pools are weak.
I myself go with 1000 Health, 1000 Action, and 650 mind. My other mind scores are minimal, and my other Health and action scores are maxed.
On one hand, the Health, Action and Mind bars are your stats that get attacked and are what causes you to be incapped/slain if they are brought to 0 or lower. Because of this, you want them as high as possible.
On the other hand, the higher the sub stats are, the faster your main bars will regenerate. Less downtime and they build up while fighting, as well.
I'm a Bothan TKA and I have 1000/1000/750(or 800, don't remember) while my sub stats are 400-500 each. Mostly 400. I regenerate slowly but I can take that little bit more damage. I'm also a medic, so the regen doesn't bother me so much. Not to mention, meditate helps out, as well.
One thing to keep in mind is what stat do your moves hit the most? You might wanna buff that stat up a bit more than the others. Just an idea.
I'm just curious how to work this in for a wookie.
I usually shoot up the target at first to lower its pools and then when it closes I switch.
I've got massive health, ok action and lower mind (blue). But since I'm a brawler/carbine hybrid, I find my action isgreen to half by the time I'm done with two critters and then I get womped by the mob boss because I don't have enough pool left. Any suggestions from other wookie players? I've ended up having to avoid special moves to reserve enough pool for the brawling phase by the time the mob gets close.
Migrate your stats to compensate. (ie. Take some from health and apply it to action)
If you're using a crafted Carbine that's stronger than a CDEF, they use an insane amount of HAM compared to a CDEF.
Knucklers take off quite a bit of HAM when using specials.
