Thread: Major Lunge Bug Shows mainly in PVP

Okay I've tested it extensively now. For the past few weeks, it's there.


I can be burst running and be ONTOP of my friend.. and it says "Out of range" when I try to Lunge, or anything.


I can be regular running and be ontop of my friend.. and it says "Out of range" when I try to Lunge.


This seriously needs to be fixed, so that we can -gasp- stop people from kiting us without using knockdowns. As a Fencer, I -need- to be able to lunge them with my dizzy/lunge combo.

this isnt a lunge issue its a lag issue.


with small ranged attacks you sometimes have a 1-2 sec delay. In those 2 secs they will be out of range, even though ur really not. sux doesnt it. what i have done that has been tried and true is if they are running at you. Lag works with you instead of against. Just get outta sight and let them come to you.

It isn't lag on my side.. It may be server lag.. But I don't lag.. My pings always under 60

if you followed the game before release, they mentioned where the server thinks you are and where you think you are can be as much as 15m, imagine this for 2 ppl, could be 30m apart and it looks like your on top of them.

I also believe you have to stop running for the attack to go off. If you stop for the time required to do the attack, it is possible they could have run out of range by then. To catch people fleeing, I've always had to run IN FRONT of them, stop, attack and run in front again.
