Thread: My first taste of PvP Combat
Last night, at Anchorhead, there was (apparently- lol it all happened so quickly- One minute I'm minding my own business, next I'm coming too at the cloning station hehhehehe) an Imperial raid. A friend and I were running some Rebel missions, we'd just succeeded in finishing one, and were running to the next. As we began to runinto the desertin the direction of our next mission, off in the sandy distance I see three HUGE mean ass lookingspiders with their owner gleefully encouragingtheir bloodlust. Then it dawned on me- this was the 'dreaded' Arali (sp?) Of course, I did what any self respectingn00bto PvP would do- I promptlypanicked, realizing I was gonna die, yelled BONZAI and rushed head long into the path of the oncoming beasts.
I was promptly sniped dead with one headshot. LOL
So, what's a melee characterto do? Besatisfied with sacrificing oneself to the nobel cause? All in all the battle just seemed poorly orchestrated chaos. Fun-- but too brief, and not 'satisfying' in any way. Do other melees feel this way?Is it different with ranged weapons? Is it purely a n00b thing that will 'pass', once I get the 'hang' of it? Or should I hang my hat up, and resign my melee lovin' ass to a life of fightin' critters.......
Also, (and I apologize if this has been asked before)... Is there a benefit to acquiring Master Brawler if you decide to move onto an Elite profession? Or is it really not worth the effort.......
Thanks,

If someone pulls out a gun on you, and you're not already on top of then. Run. Run fa fa away Forest. Cuz you gunna take a dirt nap. Just try and flank them when they are under fire by your ranged support.
Any melee who is caught at a distance by a marksman should eat it.
