I've just made 2-handed 4, and I can pretty much choose any of the weps - 2H axe, vibro-axe, scythe, curved sword, cleaver, etc... - so, what's the best weapon? I found a curved sword last night with amazing max damage, close to 300, but the min damage was 20 - with that variance, it would probably only do about the same average DOTas my current 2H axe, which has lower max damage, but much tighter damage range (86-146, I think)

there are so many different variables - damage, variance, speed, special move cost, etc.. - it gets confusing - is there a standard 'kick a$$' 2H weapon? Is it more a matter of choice? Are the top tier weapons actually better? (I know they aren't in the rifle tree...)

any 2-handers help me out?

2 hand swordsman here, the general feeling on the Swordsman board is the 2 hand curved is mostly used. Maybe if the to hit was different on the power hammer, but not as is. The 2 hand curved is very fast and i've seen minimum damages in the 80's unsliced. If i were you though I would let the wc's start making new weapons post patch and see what comes up.

Well since I didnt check way back when I used a Heavy Axe. Willing to bet that is doenst have the armor piercing rating of 2/medium that the 2h curved sword has. Plus I know the sword is faster.

As a master 2 handed swordsmen I use my 2h curved 99% of the time, unless I come across a high-kenetic resist target, then I pull out my power hammer.

Stats on my 2h curved swords:

72- 309 damage 2.6 attack speed. =)

46-256 damage 2.0 attack speed.

Both are nice, and both are sliced, it depends on if I want damage or speed. But with the nerf on beserk I've picked up using the higher damage one more.
