I agree unarmed is a long haul but you hit ALOT more often and miss VERY rarely.
The tk tree starts off slow but with knockdown and the power tree (is that the dmg speed bonus tree?) you get ALOT better very fast huge dmg, quick speed and then you get meditation and power boosts on top afterwards its a long haul but MORE then worth it ![]()

Can you advise me on what you did to complate Master Unarmed? I'm getting experience at waaayyy too slow a rate. (100-200 unarmed XP per battle)
I'm at Master Unarmed and also going the TKA route. As of last night, I was hitting on average for only about 70 or 80 points. But when using a special such as UnarmedHit1 or UnarmedStun1, I hit for maybe 180 or 190.
So it's been a challenge to time my specials to be their most effective. I'm still having fun, but wish that "unarmed" meant unarmed and that the damage and skill point requirements for TKA were adjusted accordingly.

Correction.. *was* worth it. Take a peek at the TK profession board after today's patch. There's about 200 new messages from today alone from folks basically abandoning the Tk class and/or SWG over the changes they made to us today.
In a nutshell, kd1/kd2 now cost 209 ham bare handed and a whopping 680 ham if I foolishly equip vk's. Being the bread and butter move of Tk's, especially higher in the TK trees, advancement in this profession will now be slow and painful. I am not talkign about no longer being able to solo reds and yellows - without a good knockdown a white con will kick your butt at higher levels of tera kasi.
Seriously, I'd pick another profession for now until we can convince SOE to make TK a viable class once more.
