Ok, this is the solution for aspiring smugglers (found on another thread, don't remember where):

- train pistol specialist first, fortunately this can still be done using a pistol - the goal is to get health shot 1

- now start training brawler, use health shot on a high lvl mob to bleed it, then switch to unarmed and hit it at least once, then run or whatever to remain alive until it bleeds to death- all the xp goes to unarmed
