I was wondering what the differance or advantage is.

I play a marksman but bust out the old knife when a creature wants to get in close and cuddly. Should I try to advance in the 2 handed skill instead of the one handed? Basically whats the differance and what would be better as a secondary skill. Im not looking to get any other brawler skills, and I'll probably only go as high as Intermediateor possibly Advanced.

Besides the obvious, they can use different weapons with different damage ranges and speeds, their special moves attack different HAM pools. One hand sword has specials that attack the health pool; not sure about 2 hand.

Right on. So if my rifle attacks the health, and I can usually get a couple shots on them before going toe to toe, than one handed would be better for me...cause it too attacks the health pool?

advanatage is that we are faster. try this when facing a humanoid enemy. get a nicely made dagger (low attack speed) expert one handed. lunge the enmey then dizzy hit. when mob tries to stand back up the fall down. use this opening to switch to heavier weapon and layeth the smackdown. its really effective.

hmmmmm I never thought about using a heavier weapon. Normally I just stand on their body and smack them or go beserk 28 days later style.

2 handed has more things that attack the mind pool. One handed gets the stun baton much earlier in elite proffession than one handed. One handed attacks health pool. 2 handed has more sweeps and drops, whereas one handed has more stance change defense, faster attacks. It's really power versus speed. In my case I like speed, so I chose one handed. If you like power choose 2 handed.
