Brawler Archive
Thread: a message to my fellow brawlers.
As it is now as a profession we will get further behind in the coming weeks to our range counterparts. The majority of weaponsmiths as it stands now are working at trying to produce only the range tree of their profession first because it yeilds the most demand. This means our advanced weapon will not be seen for weeks. Thats right if this contiues to happen like it is right now no curved swords lances vibroknuckles vibro blades vibro ax for a couple of weeks at best estimate. I am posting this fact so that you can be informed and act accordingly. I suggust:
1 that brawlers of each server unite together and persude a weaponsmith to go up the melee and experimentation tree first instead of the range. all each server has to do is convince one or two and situation should prevent itself
2 All player on the corbantis server I have already started a thread on the galaxy corbantis board at this sight. I ask if interested please post there so that we can coordinate
Thank you for your time.
As for the rest of the melee trees, good luck. I was going to go for weaponsmith myself to help supply the melee professions, but I'm finding tailoring to be much more satisfying.
I'd pay 20K for one right now.
Vibroknucks were a goldmine in Beta because there were a literally thousands of brawlers all taking advantage of the lunge exploit. Sure the first knucks will fetch a high price but the with the current state of the brawler profession, there are a lot less of us around. The weaponsmithsare faced with the choice toselltens of knucklers or hundredsof pistols. I'm betting most of them go for the pistols.
Akuna
Agreed. I'm on Ahazi currently and will try and convince the smiths there to make more melee. It's really a huge market niche. More swords damnit!! ![]()
I have another thought. What if one of us on one server used our extra slot, and made an artisan that speialized in brawler weapons. Granted, it will take a little longer, but if we knew of one or two artisans per server were devoted to the brawler class...
Just a thought.
