I just hit advanced brawler, but while hunting I realized that with a poorly made D18 pistol that does 17-59dmg, I do WAY better damage then my brawler does and I hardly get attacked back if I go prone. I can bodyshot all day as an advanced pistol user with little problem against whites. But whites destroy me when I brawl.

I'm a bothan working towards smuggler. My stats are Unarmed Accuracy 30, speed 15, damage 20. Health 900, Str 390, Con 390 Action 900, Stamina 600, Quickness 500, Mind 800, Focus 500, Willpower 400.

So.. what am I doing wrong? I tend to try and warcry or intimidate then berzerk, when that runs out I use unarmed stun then unarmed hit 1 the rest of the fight.

Here is my set up:

I now have a full set of mabari armor, minus helmet(it looks retarded) I am fooling around more with armor, never really tested it in beta.

I have max quick, stam,con, str for my race(zabrak) I have 1050 Health and action(all of these are lower due to armor though)

I go into the fight as follows:

UAStun, UABlind(repeat if dont take effect)

Intim1(optional, only use on high damage mobs, often fails anyways)

Berserk1(repeat until it works)

pound away until berserk wears off

reapply stun or blind(optional)

at this point i do one of 2 things

1)hit berserk again(if fails do not retry, and go to 2)

2) Use UAhit1 to finish them off

Womprats seem to be my toughest opponents leaving me with afairly little health left.Diseased bocatts are easy, they are 2-3 hit kills. Rockmites are fairly hard but give less xp than womprats. Jundland Eopies I can take. They may have health, but they do crap for damage.

Oh you may notice how I never stop doing specials. I consider them the only way to win. With this template and some creative tweaking, I hardly ever lose to white cons. Which are supposedly 50/50. It sounds like in your stats that you have fairly low str. My str and con are at where yours are, and Im wearing armor. Try uping the secondary stats to max and lowering the mind stats a bit.

Heres my set up I dont wear any armour. I'm waiting for personal shield generators but thats still a few days off. I use a good set of Vibro knuckles that really up my damage then when i Bazark I really do some serious damage. Thats about it.

Also know your enemy is it a pack animal or will it fight alone. On missions dont keep attacking the lair hit it a few times then stop wait for the animals or what ever to pop then kill then, one at a time then when there dead hit the lair a few more times and repeat. If you cycle it right you can finish a mission solo get great exp and not die once it.

Well thats what I do anyway and its worked great so far.
