ok, maybe its just me, but where are all the swords? i find staffs axes and knives up the wazuu, and artisans can make knives, and staffs and stuff, but they dont get any swords! i got certs for neat sounding stuff like curved swords, but im still runnin around poking stuff with a survival knife, what gives??!

they've finally began selling swords in Ahazi - Corellia Coronet bazaar.

It's just the technology. I was one of the lucky few brawlers that got the first sword on the Galaxy. Been happy with it but sitll waiting for those other blades....

find a weaponsmith name on your server send him an email asking politely to make you one and wait for reply. Due to the lack of good crafting weapons at the lower levels of weapon smith they will be glad to make a weapon somebody actually uses. This is what i did and i love mine. Expect to see curved swords and better within the next couple weeks.

Check the local bazaar. If you have the creds, you can check the bazaar for the entire galaxy and then take a trip to pick up what you bought.

Also, the thugs/gamblers/slavemasters etc. will occasionally drop swords, both curved and straight. Finding a PC crafted sword will yield a better weapon, however.

I'm having the hardest time finding any 2-handed weapons other than the Heavy Axe. Would love to find anything other than that.

Next to the cloning facility in Coronet, Corellia, thugs keep popping up like crazy, so it's a good place to gather loot. They generally are armed with an assortment of staffs, axes, and swords. It took me a while but one of them finally gave me a sword. As artisans become better weaponsmiths eventually there will be more and more items available. I think people just need to be patient. It takes a long time to get you character built up. People are wanting superduper brawlers and so on right away.

Ya know, Ive been training with a one handed sword and i cant find ANYONE to train me (except for those rip off NPC trainers). But the thing is, people message me saying its not "star warsy" and its "out of place"tohave a one hand sword. I really enjoy being a one handed sword fighter though....Your thoughts?

darth woosey go tell those people to read the book starfighters of adumar. It about a whole planet of biligerent people who love two things starfighters and dueling with swords. read its a good book.

If ppl say that 1-handed isnt star Warsy. Then just remind them of how many lightsabers are 1-handed verses 2-handed. On my server I was the first one of the town during my playing time to get expert 1-handed. I got it from an NPC but if you talk to many 1-handers there will be some that are also close to the next lvl and just make some deals about fronting the money then training them for free when they get the xp for the skill. It worked for me!

Swords? Try a Gardafiie (or however u spell it) stick, i use one for my one handed ability, its damage stat is 80-98. Now thats a one handed weapon.

ya the thugs are who i beat up, i got TONS of other weapons, everything imaginable but no friggin swords. i guess i'll have to keep pounding them

I just discovered that thugs in Dantooine drop swords. Pay that place a visit some time... just don't feed the animals. And plan to buy a round trip ticket (2600 cr).
