Thread: suggestions to make brawler work much better
Pvp fixes:
Increase brawler runspeed to make us be able of keeping up with our enemies and let us hit moving targets.
Pve fixes:
lessen the damage we take by say 10% to make us actually able of surviving a group kill on the bigger mobs like kimos and perhaps able of taking on mobs that baf.
Or give us better evasive chances for the same purpose as above.
neither of these two should apply in pvp since we should be able of fighting rather qual with ranged guys if we where able of hitting them while moving.
The only problemsI have with brawler at this time is:
In pvp I am totatly unable of hitting anyone moving around wich would be fixed by giving us more movement speed to keep up with ranged guys who run around us while shooting.
Lower Damage in pve. YeahI like to explorer and Id like to be able of taking on some of the same mobs my ranged friends are taking on wich at this time is impossible since hard mobs hit really hard. Perhaps it makes sense to have ranged guy who are supposed not to get hit killed in a few hits but at the moment this apply for brawlers aswell and it takes lots of the fun away from us.
1. Marksmen will just take brawler for speed in pvp (if they haven't already for unarmed in commando or smuggler)
2. Scout has a line that is for increasing movement speed (it has its own issues, i know it does not increase flat land run speed).
If we have a fix to pvp I think it needs to be something focused around combat, not movement. Somethink like more resistance to knockdown, or a full defense mode in which you can potentially dodge incoming shots or something. Movement speed is not a valuable fix for kiting, we need some way of making a marksman not want to kite us, ie. they can't hit us very well if we are in full defense mode and they are moving...
