Hi everyone..... I met a guy once in a cantina and he told me that someone gave him a weapon to strengthen his punches. I think the name of the item started with an 'a'. Ive been looking everywhere for what item it might be, cuz I m working on my Master Unarmed and takes quite a while. If anyone knows what this item is or if you have any tips on Master Unarmed, Id love to hear em.

They are Vibro Knuckles and you can't use them until you are a Tera Kasi artist.

Not true. My wife is Unarmed level 3, almost 4 andshe uses the Vibro Knuckler.

Let me rephrase.The skills windowsay that you don't get certified forthe vibro knuckleruntil Novice Tera Kasi, however you can probably still equip it. It just won't work as well. As I said my wife has one equipped and she isn't master unarmed yet. I don't know if this is becauseit was on when the change happened and it wont fix until she unequips it or what. She's not gonna unequip it to fine out... just in case.

You can equip weapons that you don't have the certification for, but they will not do the damage that they're supposed to do. They may also deteriorate more quickly, but I'm not sure about that.

I've heard that some people have been having luck with equipping fast vibroknucklers and that these apparently speed up their unarmed attacks even though they're not certified. If you already have a pair of VKs, it might be worth trying.

You still get the speed from the knuckles if you wear them. I know because I tested this in the time I spent getting from intermediate to master unarmed. Without the kunckles i hit noticebly slower. The knuckles was 1.7 speed by the way.

Dispite the dmg being lower (Because of lack of certification) it still helps haveing knuckles. The dmg unmodified was around 61 to 68 without any specials. Knuckles was 30-133 if I remember correct.

In an update, it's best to use knuckles that you have looted from NPCs, it seems the player created ones have much higher HAM costs for special moves.

What loot? You mean you actually get something useful from NPC's?
