It's not bugged. Supposedly in beta the lunge moves did damage and folks complained about dying to it in pvp. Damage was removed, posture lowering effect was left in. Same thing with the master brawler version of the lunges. Knockdown, but no damage per se.

ALL lunges (1h, 2h, Polearm and Unarmed) have one sole purpose. Posture change and that's it. It was waaaaaaaaaay to easy in beta to just stand and unarmed lunge over and over until something was dead. So they changed it to only hit for 1 point of damage so that it has a situational use, instead of spamming it over and over.

I always see brawlers complaining that they stand no chance againts ranged opponents...and yes...that is true as it should be...pull a knife out at a gunfight and see what happens. You might take out 1 if your lucky, but you are going down unless you are Jet Li or Jackie Chan. That's the way it goes.

Now, since you have a means of lowering one's posture...when they start to run away with their pistol blaring....lunge them...if it hits...new fight...if it misses...try to lunge them again. It works just fine.

unfortunately lunge also takes off 1/8 of my HAM (not wearing armor), dizzy misses a lot, and lunge is still out of range when I'm standing on my target....

Last nite im playing and I'm using lunge and dizzy im using a ryyky blade that does 30-145 i think . A friend of mine makes a comment on the damage im doing so i click on the combat tab and notice that 1 handed melee lunge is doing 1-3 points of damage while dizzy is doing 200 -400 damage . is melee lunge bugged or has it always done this crap damage ? if its a bug id like the brawler correspondent to get this addressed , I also put in a report online just wating my turn til some one talks to me . has any one else noticed this or is it just my toon ?

What's the range on the weapon you are using....i know unarmed lunge is 15m but if you have knucklers its only like 7m
