OK fellow Brawlers. I'm a Trando expert unarmed( almost master) with 14 - 84 VKs (thank you Mua on Kauri). I do about 170 average damage without specials. I went on to a PvE battlefield for the first time today, and had my butt absolutley handed to me by a single Storm Trooper. He was doing 230 avg. through my bone armor, and I was doing 160 to him. I know the curve is steep for Brawlers to become viable, but I was wondering how far I would have to go into TKA before I can kill that lone trooper?

Any ideas?

Most people can't even scratch a stormtrooper solo with the best weapons. This is a balance issue that needs to be addressed. I got my ass handed to me by a imperial MEDIC. This was on a mission to only pay 300 credits.

All you need to do is learn your styles knock down move. Polearms have sweep, one handed swords have lunge then dizzy and I don't know the knock downs for the other classes. I am still in the Brawler catagory, working towards fencer and can solo stormtroopers while only getting hit once or twice. knock them down and they are helpless.

im advanced unarmed close to expert and for me storm troopers are red cons so i dont even think about attacking them.

i think it is messed up that they are so powerful.

did anyone see them in the movies.

i mean a farmer boy killed too many to count with a pisti and they always died in one shot

Yeah, but Vadar got pissed so he made them all train harder

But in all seriousness, they're red to me and I am master unarmed working on TKA Novice. So I wouldn't imagine you should be able to kill them yet.

Sounds like you need to advance more towards Teras Kasi. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the Storm Trooper armor defended very well against unarmed/melee damage.
