I just hit the berserk button and it says I go berserk but my damage stays the same as normal hits and I don't get the berserk icon on my character's status bar (on the top left of the screen).

Anyone else getting this?

My wife and I were fighting last night with out any problems with zerk. Other than the normal failures that is Might be the server you're on, we play on Eclipse.

Worked fine for me all night last night -- save for the usual random 6 failures in a row! This can't be right... I mean, one every so often is fine, but 6 in a row! Action pool go bye bye and I'm taking a dirt nap.

I had this problem last night for about 45 minutes or so on Flurry, near Tyrena, after the subserver I was on crashed (went LD and when I got back in all mobs and mission targets weregone until more spawned). It eventually started working again though, no idea why.

I have not noticed. I do know that 'zerk was nerfed a few patches back.

To answer your question: Yes, Berserk is worse now. Some Marksmen complained about the overpowering damage of Berserk, so it was nerfed. Now you have a reason to try the various Hit1 specials. I used these anyway because berserk failed more often than not, and I died more using it. The Devs have taken away any reason for me using it now. I seriously think this is their plan. Give us a whole bunch of specials that no one can use and a whole slew of weapons that we'll never see because no one can craft them.

The special moves damage my HAM entirely to much. I consider them worthless except for the Spin Attack, since it can damage multiple Mobs.

Get yourself someV-knuckes and pray the Devs do not nerf those as well.

Put your VKs up before you do your special moves. I can style all day long if I don't have VKs on. Then after you get some good affects on your target, put your VKs on and berserk.
