Thread: Can 2 inept Brawlers succeed in a 2 person group?
Alright, my friend and I are both combat inept brawlers. We've choose our dress and our weapons and our stats, and they are not optimized to be a good brawler.
We go out trying to hunt, but it either seems like we're killing kreetles difficulty creatures all the time, or we are in life and death fights against yellows. The kreetles give about 5-10 times as much experience as the harder mobs simply because we walk up, etc. But that's no fun at all.
And after any fight that gives notable xp, there's lots of downtime. We don't fight much, but at the rate we go, its going to be a month before we get to our elite professions.
What's the secret here?
Thanks for the support ![]()
Neither of us wear much armor for RP reasons. Can we get clothing with sockets to make up for this? I've just heard about it, but I don't know anything about how to use sockets or even where to get socket things.
I've considered getting food and spices to boost our stats up, but that seems awfully expensive for killing womp rats.
for the clothing comment:
you can get clothing with sockets however unless they are dropping off of mobs that noone is killing yet the skill gems are very rare. in additiond to that I dont think that they will provide armor bounses.
If you are not going to wear armor then you might want to consider a shield belt. it will help with the kinetic damage as well as some blaster fire for when the desert demons get frisky ![]()
If you are running short on cash do deliver missions out of espa. anything over 700 creds should be to eisely(about 9k to the se). buy a round trip ticket and do the same thing from eisley.(again the missions over 700 should be to espa about 9k to the nw)
Good luck and get some kibro knucklers. they will make a big diffrence!
Actually cash isn't much of a concern. I discovered last night that the secret to my success might just be food/drink powerups (Tatooine sunshine for one).
I'll look into the shield belts though, that sounds promising. Thanks!
What if you had two brawlers go after a single enemy. Have one guy constantly do knockdowns, while the other attacks normally. When the enemy is about half dead, switch roles until it dies. Would that stop the enemy from being able to fight back?
I've never really experimented much with those position change attacks.
