hmm that is helpful. I thought it subtracted form the HAM toatl not the cost of special moves.

So getting some nice mind heavy encumbrance would hit much at all.

Explains why my Trandoshan with a carbine doing leg shots all the time died so fast heh.

i know that each time i put on a piece of armore it decreases my stat points in some shape or form, and when i take off the armore the points go back up. so basicly what happens is if i fight with an armore the damage i take decreases but at the same time i have to hit my target way more times, with armore off its the opposite way. my question is, is there a point of even putting the armore on when all im doing is making it harder for a monster to kill me, but at the same time im making it harder for myself to damage the monster?

As far as I know, armor doesn't lower your damage output, but it raises the HAM cost for special moves and such. In otherwords, you're damaging yourself while taking less damage from encounters. It's a line you need to watch when wearing armor. If you just use berzerk and do regular attacks then it's not really a huge issue, but if you're the type that likes to use a lot of specials, look into getting high quality pieces here and there and not a full set of armor.
