Is there a stat or some other method of determing if a weapon is a 1 hander, 2 hander, polearm, etc...? Thanks.

1-H - Knives, swords, vibroblades, garefetti baton, curved sword...there's a couple more, I believe

2-H - Heavy Axe, Two-Handed Axe,...not real familiar with this one...

Polearm - Staves, lances, long axe

There's a post in here that a weaponsmith posted about comparing weapons. Look for it as it should list the weapons and in the order you can use em.

2handed weapons~~~~ heavy axe, 2handed axe, vibro axe, scythe, 2handed curved sword, power hammer

Look at your weapon certifications and see if the weapon you want is listed.

To expand on what the above poster said - hit CTRL S to go to your skill tree, then click on the skill in question. It will give you a list of the associated weapons near the bottom of the screen.
