Thread: The /taunt command, What the heck does it do?
It's the "Save the medic" command. Anytime somebody catches agro who you don't want to catch agro (primarily your rezzer, but it could be a ranged fighter, etc), /taunt the critter that is on them and it should switch agro to you.
Oh ok, thanks, since i solo a lot, it is kinda a waste of time then, but i will keep that in mind next time i hunt in group with my friends.![]()

It's also the best and faster way to kill yourself if you are not strong enough.
It happened to me ages ago on mission with 1 healer and 1 shootter friends. I did taunt again and again among a crowd of swarming dewbecks hoping to protect my friends ...
At the end of the action they were so kind to wait for me back from cloning facility ...!!
Just the case.
Have fun!
^ Really? Neato. I hate it when they run away like that. I'll have to try that.
Wait a minute, isn't this what Ranger's "Rescue" skill is supposed to do? Rescue is supposed to pull the aggro from a party member to you, but it has a skill mod and at Master Ranger still doesn't work great and it's not very useful, but taunt does it fine?
