Looking for some great feedback from others who have gone this route and recall great tips that helped them along the way to get into Fencer.
So,what is the Best way to tackle 1 handed, and possibly Fencer?Any help or tips on the subject would be greatly appreciated,Thanks

Unfortunately, grinding onehanded is painfully slow because of the low damage output. At brawler 0000 you qualify for a dagger, so try to find one with good speed. At 0100 you qualify for sword, curved sword, and gaderafi baton. If you have credits, look for a speed sliced gaffi. Otherwise, go with fast curved swords (I have a couple in the 1.6 spd range sitting around... send me a tell if you want one). At 0200 you can get a vibroblade, which is the only weapon we get that does any damage against ar1. At 0300 you qualify for a ryyk blade... ditto on speed (and ditto on sending a tell). At 0400 you qualify for a rantok sword. The only place I know where you can get this is the final stages of the jabba themepark... just stick with a ryyk or gaffi.
I would just grind the first level of the tree on meatlumps and ragtags. Then I'd go take some squill missions on Tatoine for the next two levels.
Just my .02 credits....
Oh, and at novice fencer you qualify for a stun baton, which is what I mainly use in PvP. Once you hit the fencer tree, you can pay less attention to speed, and more attention to average damage output of weapons.
And use CenterOfBeing if it's not too mind-draining.

Grouped with my mount (level 5) I was able to go from novice brawler to Novice fencer on the ragtags outside of coronet in around 4 hours. I was buffed of course jsut to make it easy and used beserk and a survival knife to get ot 0100. The I used a curved sword speed sliced( got it to 1.6) till i could get the vibroblade. Then I just used the vibroblade all the way up to fencer. The ragtags respawn as soon as you loot them so I was getting a little over 100 xp on each kill. I was also getting around 20-30 kills(low estimate) per minute. It was going very quickly.

Im doing the one handed grind right now. I have had great success withbuffs and Bull bantha lairs, around 2k xp, drop relitively fast and they only stun. I was able to pull the missions right from a NPC city without a group(Master Sword). No need for armor but its nice to have.
From nothing to 30k into one handed IV it took me about 2 hrs. Much faster then the Unarmed tree was for me.
I used 3.5 spd gaf 239 dmg the whole way.
I would imagine the spin attack at one handed IV is the move to level to novice like most other melee, at least thats what im going to try anyway.

I have heard other fencers claim success with that spin, but I felt I did better with the 1handedHit instead, right after intimidate.

This is basically what I did, but when I got novice fencer, I did quenkers this last time. I used Spinattack 1 till I got 2 then used that. (use beserk before that)

I actually just did the climb today. Started with a stone knife and kill meatlumps outside coro. When I hit 2 I bought a high damage speed sliced graffi stick that I used the rest of the way. Killed more meatlumps till 3 then killed quenkers for 3 and 4. You will have to be buffed for the quenker part. Took less then 3 hours.

That's basically what I did, too, although I did missions with the guys who got me into the game for the starting levels. If I were to do it again, I'd say the newbie spawns outside one of the cities for the first level, then go get yourself a decent Gaffi stick (unless you're relatively wealthy, don't waste money on sliced ones, just use the grind quality sticks, you'll go through them in a hurry). You should be able to do some of the easier POI's, or take missions for Binyare pirates or such. For 3 and 4, any higher-level spawn will do. I switched between Dant (quenkers and voritors) and Dath (forget what I did there), and made it to Novice Fencer in a couple of days. I only play a few hours at a time, though, you could easily do it in a day. After that, to get to Master, do the higher level POI's, like the Janta and Kunga strongholds, Klikniks give good XP on Yavin, or get in a group and run Janta missions on Dant.
