I'd say a nice pistol...

Brawling will only get you killed or severly hurt if you even try.

Just some friendly advice.

Otherwise 2 hand sword hits hard and slow, polearm is the same.

One hand sword and unarmed are generally the fastest. I think unarmed with vibroknucklers is probably the best damage for a faster attack.

I am a master scout about to try smuggler and rifleman, but I really want to know more about the CH profession. Could someone please send me a link or post one about a CH guide, explaining to me the current bugs and things like creature growth, feeding, levels, quality of pets, etc? I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Sindory has put together several posts containing really good information on his Creature Handler site:

Try reading some of those and see if that helps you.

Well, if you're enjoying BH to any degree, I'd say stick with it. Riflemen are possibly very powerful at Master, and very high levels preceding Master, but below that they are weak, and the grind to Master is very, very slow. I can't say from experience in teh BH field, but from the number of Master BHs I see running around compared to Master Riflemen, I'd say the road to Master BH is quicker than Master Riflemen.

Do what you want to, and check out the "Tips for Riflemen" thread stickied to the top of this forum for tips on being a Riflemen. Good, sound advice there.

rifleman arent necessarily weak but its definitely a low profile profession

you wont be the flashy bh or pistoleer type running around sqezzing off 30 shots a minute for pi damage but in agroup you can really be effective in a supporting role. the two atacks that we get on the mind pool ( headshot mindshot) are really made for pvp just not one on one pvp. the way i play group pvp is the following; let my bh's and pist run around like lil chickens taking all the damage. while all the enemy tries to kill them i sit back at 68m in a prone position and cycle through the enemy. when i find one thats about half mind pool .. pop! pop! mindshot 2 headshot3 and most of the time they are history. then i pop em with the snipershot for a long range db. no im not the most visual person on the battlefiel dbut at the end i seem to have gained alot more fp then the rest of my party

if you like team play but dont have to be the flashy guy this profession is for you, however if your gonna solo id go with a more close ranged profession it would prob benefit you more. either way good luck in the future!!

Hello all,

As i stand i have mastered bounty hunter(marksmen and scout obvisously) dabbled in tons of professions and now i have pistoleer 0/0/4/3 with MBH and am bored out of my mind. IT seems as if i wont get holos so im thinking of grinding professions.

Right now i have 900k heavy wep exp saved up 200k carbine exp and 225k pistol exp. What should i start to master first?

I'm a master TK artist with 2 skill trees from the Ranger profession.I have 26 remaining points that I'm thinking of putting into CH.Can someone tell me if this would be enough to handle large agressive pets? And if so,can you suggest which skill trees would be the most effective? Thanks so much for any replies.

The taming branch gives you the ability to handle agressive stuff, but without training you can only have 4 at a time.

Every skillbox gives you a greater CL level.
