Does anyone know how this works in the CU. It seems to be completely different. At unarmed 1 I was granted COB. Now in the past you use and you go +centered+ for X amount of time. However this is not the case now. Now when you hit it a box pop up and fills up and disappears then you want to wait for it to recharge. Now I did a test and timed this for when I was hit. The box started to fill up and I was hit, it dropped down and restarted again. It seems that if I do this when I get hit I can use it again right away. Now my questions is this, was I in wind up and they counter-attacked it cancelling the move, or did I time it right"twitch-based" and made them not hit me. I also noticd during this time I took less to no damage.

CoB in the CU is a defensive bonus of 250 (melee and ranged). It last for 30 seconds each time. I know that sometimes you will wind up for CoB but not get the buff from it; while winding up the buff is not on so you do not get any bonuses. When you correctly recieve the CoB buff it reduces your damage and makes it harder for the mob to hit you. Tiggs wrote:

Accuracy does two things:
- Determines probability of hitting the target.
- If your accuracy is greater than defensive skills of your target, you do additional damage.
Level difference between the player and the target also has an effect on hitting and damage done.
With the extra defense you can fight white and yellow cons 1v1 solo. At level 3 i can kill a lvl 4 mob with only losing 1/4 of my life, when i fight a lvl 3 con I lost only 50 health.
If you target a mob you can use CoB. I what until the I can use my melee lunge, which might knock the down, followed by the basic melee strike. I can kill white and yellow cons in less than 30 secs( the duration or CoB)
