I was letting my brother make a toon before the CU, and he was trying to get unarmed and pistols for smuggler. Anyways, I tried to tell him to wait till after the CU, but he didn't, so now, of course, he is trying to unlear everything he just finished learning. But the other day he got on and tried fighting some eopies unarmed... he only has the first box, so he had just a basic melee attack, and when he went to hit the eopie... it didn't attack him back. He immediately was out of combat after he executed the attack. So he hit it again. Nothing. It reminded me of attacking a lair and peacing it to stop anything from agroing you. In the end, he killed the eopie and the thing didn't even enter combat. So, I knew something was little messed up, so I got on and took his toon over to a level 18 Bull Ronto. I was level 2. And then, slowly, I killed the thing.

The combat music would start and stop in the space of 1-2 seconds. I have never fought unarmed before, and I am still getting used to the CU as a whole with my ranged abilities, so I really dont know what is up with this. Is it just a really weird bug, or is there something about brawling that I dont know about? Either way, it is an exploitable bug/ability and should be fixed. Level 2 Novice Brawlers should not be killing Level 18 Bull Rontos. I mean... if I did that with my level 42 toon, I would be able to solo level 378 and escape without ttaking any damage.
