I just dont get this unarmed combat??? I cannot fight anything without my health going way down. I tried firing at mobs with my pistol until they are almost dead, but I only get like 1xp for unarmed when I do that? Is there a strategy for unarmed combat? From the very beginning. Thanks.

Get used to it, our cries are being ignored by Sony. At master level Unarmed I am relegated to the newbie hunting grounds taking blues one at a time while the brand spankin' new Marksmen with Expert level are out soloing whites back to back for 10 minutes. Then of course there is the time like now when I am regenning that I have to come visit the forums... Gogo Unarmed Brawlers Go.

What a crock of shizit. Cant wait to get thru this 70k so I can never have to look back at the mess of a profession that Unarmed Brawling is.

I'm not really sure what the problem is. I am able to take white mobs back to back for several kills before I have to rest. I can ussually take a diseased bocatt or sevort lair in less then 10 minutes. I have done this from expert unarmed and I do not use any ranged weapons. Now I'm master unarmed and the spin attack is awesome. Very helpful for taking out those annoying 'baby' critters. BTW, I hardly ever use bezerk, I just dont find it worth the points. Sure you may hit more, but they hit you more too. By using blind and stun the mobs ability to cause damage is severly decreased. I'm not saying I don't get into trouble, I do.

I tend to have more problem with faction missions, because they tend to have red or yellow conned humanoid mobs. I have learned that by using lunge I can keep those guys from hitting me (as they tend to switch to melee after I close in with them).

I play a human and my stats are pretty even; 900,900,800. I'm able to set up camp if needed and I'm also going for master medic, so I have some healing abilities. I rarely use healing in combat. I save it for after combat. But since I dont get xp for healing my self, I tend to just sit down and wait it out. I only wear 2 peices of armor. When I am sitting and regening I remove those peices. I have my armor pieces on hot keys, takes me two keystrokes to take em off, and two keystrokes to put em back on.

Maybe you have problems with tactics? Maybe (and i really suspect this) choice in stats spread and race makes a difference. If it takes you more than 10 min to regen to full, something can be done about that.

So with carefull investigation of you stat pool and tactics and with judicial use of special moves you can take out lairs fairly easy.

I play a trandoshan brawler I"m shooting for master brawler. I do fine unarmed but I have higher strenth and a bonus to unarmed damage. My pools are 1000, 900, 400 I think. I can take out a white easily, but yellow is a bit hard and read is just not gonna happen.
