Greetings Brawlers,

My wife and I have been playing pretty heavily since release day. She started as a Brawler, I started as a Scout. Due to the fact that she was *always*incapped or dying(every...single...fight) I decided I should go into the medic profession

Well now I'm a Master Medic, working on Doctor. I routinely double heal Health and Action for 500+

However, my wife still continues to get incapped because her *mind* stat just plummets during battle. What is going on with this? Is this due to the special moves she does or does every single monster in the game have the intelligence to target the lowest stat?

Even if she doesn't get incapped, her mind pool is always below 1/4 at the end of a fight (against a Nuna? Hello?)...resulting in long downtimes (using *long* here loosely...still nothing compared to EQ) and there is *nothing* I can do about it (I don't want to become a dancer too!).

To try and offset this we have used stat migration to reduce her STR and CON and bumped up her Mind and Willpower (to increase Mind regen rate...reduce downtime) but is this a good idea in the long run?

Honestly it seems to me that a Brawler that has a regular Medic to group with would be better off reducing Health and Action stats down as much as possible to boost Mind. I can keep a brawler on their feet all day long if the Mind bar doesn't get depleted.

Is that the way its supposed to be or is my wife doing something wrong?

What type of Brawler is she -- unarmed, one-handed, two-handed? What is she fighting?

My own experience as a Brawler/Scout is that I only use special moves sparingly, because they do have a big impact on your HAM in general.

She has focused on 1h Swords and just hit Novice Fencer last night.

We hunt just about everything that comes accross our path on Naboo. Doesn't seem to matter what we hunt, her mind stat is almost always what drops her to the ground.

I am a Zabrak Unarmed brawler, my mind pool is 500, minus some when I have armor on. I have yet to be incap from hits to the head. I've been hit a few times in the head, but never with enough damage to even worry me about getting incap from it. My guess is she is using a skill that uses mind for its cost. Have her not use anything but berserk for a while, no other style, and see if that helps or not.
