I have gotten to Pistoleer, Smuggler, AND bounty hunter on 3 servers now, Was very dissapointed with pistols and rifles... I noticed at higher con hunts the damage i was doing with my 200 damage rifle and 150 damage pistol was just flat out lacking...

How to solve this? I picked up a heavy axe, and at NO skill in it i was doing more than i was at pistoleer or smuggler.. The reason for this? Cuz i was a high strength great health/action/mind Trandoshan... Since than i have used my axe religously, and have found myself only growing better... I was dissapointed with the hit/miss ratio but that has gone down.. i rarely miss now at Novice heavy swordsmen... Using a two handed axe I have delt damage of over 1500+ sometimes.. ive never even seen 1/3 that as my rifle or pistol could do.... So while you continue to complain.. Yes range helps.. but I dont know about everyone else, I like to see my enemy, And i like to Actually do something to kill someone. Yes they need to improve the tanking capabilities... the fact that we get hit the same as i did when i used range is a problem, but That will be induced later im sure. Til then i am just waiting for my vibro axe to be made on eclipse.. than i can only imagine what kind of damage ill dish out.. But being a rebel being able to SOLO stormtroopers has been a great feat of mine... People walk by seeing the damage i deal and literally drop their guns. pick up an axe and follow in my Long path. If you want a true weapon, grab an axe.

Were you using the CDEF pistol or something? I hunt with a Scout friend who uses a pistol, and at Novice Pistoleer he is able to do 330ish damage with no special attacks, which I might add is more than my vibroknuckles at Novice TKA. I do about 280 max...

I find your claims very hard to belive Rand. Sorry if you're telling the truth but IMHO there is no possible way.

Well, I walked by an axe wielding Tran and I noticed he did 450 damage in one hit. The poor thug crumpled to the ground without a whimper. However, I have no idea what skill level the Tran was at or if he was using any special moves.

If I'm berserk and use my vibroknuckler, I can do up to 450 in a single hit against someone. I'm only a master unarmed brawler. When I hit TKA novice (tonight maybe) I should do even more.

Oh yeah, I also hit alot faster than someone with a melee weapon or a gun, teehee.

My highest hit is 1950, I hit for over 1200 often.

err.. strength has nothign to do with damage, thats skill based, strength just effects the cost of doing your special moves which some increase damage
