Hello,
Instead of waiting for any pomp and circumstance, I thought I'd get some greetings underway, as I have just been appointed as Brawler correspondent. I'm excited about this opportunity and I'm ready to get to work. In this thread I'd like to just introduce myself and in another thread I will get the ball rolling by asking for some discussiof of the top brawler issues at present.
First of all, who am I? Well, my name is StGabriel. StGabe or just Gabe works fine. I play primarily on Test Center where I have two main characters: Flynn and Gaffyn. Both of these characters are intentionally very brawler-centered and were built specifically to test incoming brawler-related content. Gaffyn is a master brawler and is working on both Teras Kasi and Fencer at the moment. Flynn is a master weaponsmith, who works only brawler weapons, as well as getting ready to work on some swordsman skills. I can be found on Test Center at all sorts of hours. Feel free to drop me a line to discuss new changes, existing brawler issues or even to ask about purchasing melee weapons if you'd like to try playing a bit on Test Center.
As correspondent, my primary job is to filter data from you to the dev team and to filter data from the dev team back to you. That means that I'm the bottleneck for information. You should make an attempt to get information you want to see given to the devs to me first and to look for me for answers first. Of course even this gets tricky as there will be times when I have information that I simply cannot share with you guys yet and there will be times when I just don't have answers.
I am not only moving information of course, I am advocating for the profession in general. I am personally optimistic about where brawlers are right now. I think that some of brawler-specific content, i.e. warcry, intimidate, lunge and berserk, are among the more effective brawler abilities available. That does not mean that there is not a lot of discussion to be had and work to be done for making the brawler profession better and more polished.
Thank you for reading all this! Please if you can, find some time to comment in the Discussion of Top Brawler Issues thread that I will be posting shortly and we can get the ball rolling.
Thanks,
StGabriel, a.k.a. Flynn and Gaffyn McDonnell.

Congrats on making correspondent. I believe i've met gaffyn online at the TC. I'm glad you're a brawler because I tried to become a swordsman on TC. However it's frustrating when a novice swordsman can't even get a beginner's two handed curve sword at the local bazaar.
